hello everyone, another update with the 93 Cv

Good thing is, the three plugs I replaced earlier already make this car feel like it gained a few more steps in its dance.

With my tags expired I can't do much until I replace the windshield and finish replacing my regulator, but I've hit another roadblock. An oil leak.

With Virginia being as it is, I have a feeling they don't take kindly to leaky cars passing safety, anybody else think it's time to replace that Pan+Gasket, and how would I take it out ?

My three year plan

This year

1. Pass inspection

Get new sensors

2016

Replace fenders

2017

2007 mustang 4.6 and 5 speed auto swap plus rear end.

First check that filter o ring, just get that pice of crap off there and at least put on a napa gold. It looks like the major oil is coming from above the level of the pan gasket, but that also looks like it could be seeping a bit. Unbolt, sneak it off above that track bar, clean the hell out of all that mess and the pan, install new gasket, rebolt

Pretty much everything 505 said - it looks like some other leaks are possible like the filter support, but the pan and filter are a good place to start. As long as it isn't the front main, you should be okay.

Your oil pan is remarkably not corroded. You should feel lucky.

I suggest a can (or two) of degreaser and find out where the leak is actually coming from, that doesn't look like a pan leak. Could be on or around the filter, or at the pressure sending unit.
